Sooke Logging Sports at Canada Day

The art of logging sports is alive and well in Sooke, BC.
When the Sooke Community Association announced that the famous All Sooke Day Logging Sports event would not be held anymore, there was an outcry from the community.

In response to the demand to bring back some of the excitement and fun of this long running event, the Sooke Canada Day Society hosts a mini logging demonstration at Canada Day July 1.
